| Project 1 - Fiddlers Ferry Power Station |
|
A new processing plant for reprocessing waste soot into concrete and cosmetic products is being constructed over the next 12 months.
NU Fire is to record the building process in a time-lapse set up using 2 Mobotic IP cameras and a P.C with internet access. This auspicious project will be recorded and available worldwide. |

| Project 2 - Naysmith Industrial Estate, Eccles |
|
Protecting various companies on an industrial estate with group access was a real challenge.
The entrance to the estate was re-designed for vehicular and pedestrian access, to allow the installation of an 8m cantilever gate controlled by radio fobs and a dawn to dusk timer.
Most vandalism occurred when the estate was closing after 6 p.m. The gate closes automatically at this time with intercom access only via telephone to a remote monitoring station.
Several PTZ dome cameras and infra red movement sensors supervise the site via Broadband.
All functions are programmed from NU Fire's control centre, which allows the addition of users for the gate. |

| Project 3 - Paymentshield, Southport |
|
When a prestigious business with a need for complete security for office location and servers with financial records, NU Fire where able to provide a comprehensive system of electronic security.
This starts at the entrance to the site, which is controlled by 4 x BFT barriers operated by proximity card readers.
Similarly, access to the building is restricted and full site supervision is with PTZ dome cameras. Redcare GSM to Grade 3 standard gives blanket coverage to the building. |

| Project 4 - Atkins Ltd |
|
This client required a system to control a large number of office staff that circulated across the building, with entry doors on different floors. There was also a requirement to provide a security badge with photo identification.
This was achieved with the installation of Proximity cards to open the doors, with a photographic image printed directly onto them. The client now manages the site via his P.C and printer, programming and printing cards and reviewing movements in the building via the software.
This system has the capability to be expanded across various premises by a Broadband IP connection. |

| Project 5 - RRG Toyota, Bury New Road, Bolton |
|
Complete coverage of a multi-car site is never an easy solution. However, with great experience in monitored systems and a span of knowledge for the new BS8418 monitoring standards, NU Fire have been able to secure the RRG Bury New Road site with an Adpro Fastrace unit designed for on-site digital recording and off-site monitoring.
Movement on the site is detected by Adpro professional external detectors, which lower the chance of false alarms by dual technology. CCTV cameras consisting of PTZ domes and fixed colour /monochrome cameras cover the site comprehensively. |
